Saint
Francis Wolf Sanctuary is a nonprofit registered charity in Montgomery Texas, run by volunteers, created to provide a permanent home where wild & captive born wolves and wolf-dogs may live out the rest of their natural lives safely and comfortably with loving care and attention. These are non-releasable animals that have suffered much and deserve a
stable and loving environment.
Our focus is educating the public about wolves, both captive and those still in the wild, and the complexities of wolf-dog ownership.
So, come on in, get comfortable and stay awhile! Read Grandmother Timbre's Welcome first.
Meet each of the wolves by reading their stories, viewing their pictures and watching their videos. They have much to share and teach and we have much to learn from them!
Also, find out how you can become a sponsor to the wolves and even visit them in person!
Hayden's Garden Grows We at the sanctuary have grudgingly become accustomed to the passing of a wolf. And while it breaks our hearts and we grieve from the loss, we also realize and rejoice in the fact that they have lived far beyond their normal life expectancies and ended their days surrounded with love and the security of a true nurturing home. So it breaks my heart to tell you that we have lost a cherished member of our pack unexpectantly and at TOO young an age. Hayden Louis O’Brien, 17 years of age, died on Sunday, June 29th, 2008.
He will live on not only in the memories and hearts of all whom knew Hayden, but thanks to the selflessness of his parents, he will live on through the life saving donation of his organs. Hayden has accomplished so much in his young life. From the Cub scouts all the way through becoming an Eagle scout and so much more…But I will leave it up to those who knew him well to share their memories with you.
Please take a moment to watch this amazing and moving tribute video made by his closest friends in Celebration of Hayden’s Life.

The wonderful landscaping that Hayden did for the Sanctuary has been named "Hayden’s Garden." A plaque will be placed there for the visitors to see and his story shall be shared with all. Hayden –You are Missed!! Just know that Your Garden Grows and you will continue to touch people through the work you did, the values you shared, and the love & strength that you gave to all who knew you.
